Something about Carey Mulligan just makes you fall in love. We don’t know if it’s her impeccable acting and sense of style or the fact she snagged Shia Labeouf. Either way she  keeps it classy basically all the time and we like that. We really were digging the metallic baby doll dress she strutted at the 2011 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala Presented by Cartier so we thought we would give you guys a fun alternative. Regardless of who was actually winning the awards on Sunday night, we thought Florence Welch and Mila Kunis definitely won in the wardrobe department. Lace was definitely IN this year at the Academy Awards and Florence and Mila (and Scarlett Johansson) wore it well.

Florence Welch (from Florence and the Machine) wore a Valentino lacey vintage-esque dress for the red carpet and later rocked a copper colored Roksanda Ilincic gown while she performed a piece with AR Rahman. There isn’t much this lady does that we don’t love but she managed to swoon us once again both onstage and on the red carpet.
