The first time I carried a hi-lo dress in my shop was last summer and customers asked me what was wrong with the skirt. I backed off them for a season and suddenly I can’t stock them fast enough. This trend has really taken off. Like Peter Pan collars, studs and military boots it is a huge youth driven trend that has permeated everything. The absolute thing to own this year is a sheer hi-lo dress with a cut out stud collar. If you can find one please buy it, because I cannot emphasize enough how hot that trend is.

In separates the hi-lo skirt jazzes up whatever you are wearing. Match with a cropped top. If you match with a cropped wooly sweater then your best bet for outerwear would be a blazer. If you match with a crop tank or tee then try a lace-leather biker jacket. Depending on your legs I would go with booties or calf-high boots to finish the look.
