Fedora Fedora Fedora

Long, long ago, there was a hat so stylish it enjoyed many reincarnations since its birth in the late 1800′s. The Fedora saw it’s hayday from the 1920s-1950s, from gangster to gentlemen, to your average company man. It was like the sexy love child of the bowler and cowboy hats. The Fedora not only protected you from weather but also made you look like a man of importance and command, like Bogart in Casablanca. (And yes I will use any excuse to insert a picture of Casablanca. Oh Bogie, no one wears it like you do.)
Now mostly a unisex look, this hat has re-surged in cities across the globe. At first it was just a Fall love affair but now the straw Fedora has extended the style to summer and resort as well. This great collage from nytimes.com illustrates just how in love we all are with the summer Fedora.
